Ms. So-young Park obtained her patent attorney license in 2021 and joined LEE & MOCK IP in 2024 after periods with other patent law firms. She specializes in intellectual property matters across the life sciences sector, including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, pharmacology, cosmetics, health functional foods, and food technology.
Ms. Park’s practice encompasses a broad range of IP services, including domestic and international patent prosecution and Office Action (OA) responses, prior-art searches and patentability assessments, IP consulting, patent technology trend analysis, IP-R&D support programs, freedom-to-operate (FTO) and infringement analyses, and patent dispute advisory. She provides comprehensive IP services that span the entire lifecycle of a client\'s technology and business—from formulating rights acquisition strategies in the early stages of R&D, through post-registration rights utilization, to dispute resolution.
With an academic background in Applied Bioscience, Ms. Park brings a deep understanding of molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology, and pharmacology to her practice.
