Ms. Gwi-hye Im passed the Korean Patent Bar Examination in 2019 and has been practicing as a patent attorney at LEE & MOCK IP since 2021. She handles a broad range of intellectual property (IP) matters in the chemical and biotech sectors.

Ms. Im’s practice spans various technical fields across the chemical and biological sciences, including semiconductor/display materials, battery materials, process engineering, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and food sciences. She has built a diverse portfolio of hands-on experience, collaborating with a broad spectrum of clients ranging from domestic conglomerates and tech startups to universities and research institutions (academia).

In particular, Ms. Im provides high-quality legal services across the entire IP lifecycle—from patent acquisition to dispute prevention. This includes prosecuting domestic and international patent applications, handling patent revocation proceedings, conducting validity/invalidity assessments, and performing freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses.
