Ms. Bohee Chai began her career as a patent prosecutor in 1990. Since joining LEE & MOCK IP in 1995, she has managed a range of tasks relating to general intellectual property rights, including drafting, filing, and negotiating to secure patent rights for both domestic and foreign patents.

After passing the U.S. Patent Bar Examination, Ms. Chai focused intently on U.S. patent prosecution in connection with new applications and Office Action (OA) responses. Her primary area of specialization is the semiconductor industry, and she has practical experience in a range of intellectual property matters involving various semiconductor technologies, such as logic devices, memory devices (e.g., DRAM, SRAM, Flash, FRAM, MRAM, RRAM, and PRAM), CMOS image sensors, semiconductor front-end processes, semiconductor back-end processes, LEDs, chemical materials, solar cells, lithium cells, nano-technologies such as carbon nano-tubes, and nano-dots for memory cells, and more, carried out in a number of jurisdictions, including Korea, the US, Europe, China, and Taiwan.
