Mr. Geuk Jae Jung is an IP professional with an engineering background who graduated from the Department of Metallurgical Engineering at Yonsei University and worked for approximately 10 years at LG Cable, where he was engaged in technology development across various industrial fields, including marine engine components, turbine components, and paper manufacturing machinery.

After joining LEE & MOCK IP, Mr. Jung handled a broad range of patent-related matters in the domestic patent division for the storage business division and semiconductor business division of a global Korean semiconductor company, as well as heavy industry companies. His work included technology analysis, patent searches, specification drafting, Office Action (OA) responses, and overseas filings. In particular, he has contributed to strengthening clients’ intellectual property competitiveness through his ability to accurately understand complex technologies and effectively connect such understanding to patent prosecution and protection strategies. In the inbound patent division, he has also accumulated extensive global IP practice experience by handling Korean patent prosecution matters for foreign clients in a wide range of technical fields, including semiconductor equipment, ships, logistics equipment, automobiles, wind turbines, medical devices, and various types of machinery.
