Ms. Hyun Jung Kim graduated from the Department of Electronic Engineering at Konkuk University in 1987. In the same year, she joined the editorial department of the monthly magazine Electronic Science, where she broadened her understanding of the electrical, electronics, and technology industries.
She began her patent career in 1990 with Lee & Pil Patent and Law Office and later practiced at Jeil International Patent & Law Office. She joined LEE & MOCK IP in 1999 and has been with the firm ever since. Based on more than 30 years of practical experience in the patent field, Mr. Kim has handled a wide range of patent-related matters, including domestic and foreign patent filings, office action (OA) responses, claim review, and preparation of specifications for foreign applications. In particular, with his academic background in electronic engineering, he is able to accurately understand technologies in the electrical and electronics fields and effectively incorporate such understanding into patent prosecution and protection strategies.
In addition, through extensive experience in domestic and international patent filings and Office Action responses, Ms. Kim has continuously devoted her efforts to effectively protecting her clients’ technologies and intellectual property rights and securing stable and meaningful patent rights.
