Mr. Woosung Hur passed the Korean Patent Attorney Examination in 2021 and has been working at LEE & MOCK IP since 2022. He handles a wide range of patent and utility model matters, including patent filings, domestic and foreign Office Action (OA) responses, and registration procedures throughout the entire prosecution process.

Mr. Hur primarily focuses on semiconductor patent matters for a Korea-based global electronics firm and has handled patent filings, technical analysis, OA responses, and prosecution strategies across various semiconductor technology fields, including semiconductor process equipment, semiconductor packages, memory devices, and logic devices. Drawing on his own experience in startups and e-commerce, Mr. Hur also provides patent consultations, filing services, and patent lectures for university students, individual entrepreneurs, startup founders, and early-stage businesses. Mr. Hur has extensive experience in foreign patent filings and OA responses in major jurisdictions, including the United States, Europe, China, Japan, and Taiwan. Through close collaboration with foreign associates, he supports clients in building global patent portfolios and securing intellectual property rights overseas. As a mechanical engineering major, Mr. Hur has a strong understanding of inventions related to mechanical structures, devices, and apparatuses. In addition, through his experience handling semiconductor patent matters for a major global electronics company, he has developed practical and in-depth expertise across the semiconductor field. In particular, he has a strong ability to accurately understand complex mechanical and apparatus-related structures and translate them into patent drawings.
