Mr. Moontai Lee qualified as a patent attorney in 2015 and serves as a partner and patent attorney at Lee & Mock IP. He specializes in intellectual property matters in the fields of semiconductor circuit design and artificial intelligence (AI). In particular, he has accumulated extensive experience in patent practice relating to semiconductor circuit design technologies, including DRAM, NAND flash memory, and neural network accelerators.

Mr. Lee has handled numerous overseas patent filing matters for major Korean corporations and has broad experience in developing prosecution strategies and responding to Office Actions before major patent offices, including those in Korea, the US, Europe and China. He also has diverse practical experience in drafting patent specifications, deriving claims, formulating Office Action response strategies, and preparing invention analysis reports.

With an academic background in electronic engineering, Mr. Lee has a strong technical understanding of circuits and semiconductor devices, which enables him to effectively identify and protect the essential features of inventions. In addition, he has served as an evaluator and chairperson for technology evaluation programs for special listing of technology-based companies, and has experience with cases in which evaluated companies were successfully listed. Through this experience, he has also developed expertise in assessing the growth potential and technological competitiveness of technology companies.
