Since obtaining his Korean Patent Attorney qualification in 2015, Mr. Cheol Namgoong has served at LEE & MOCK IP, where he specializes in intellectual property matters across cutting-edge technical fields including artificial intelligence, robotics, autonomous driving, medical AI, and batteries. In particular, he has supported startups developing AI-based technologies, successfully leading IP portfolio buildouts, advisory work for technology-special-evaluation IPOs (KOSDAQ technology listing track), and Innovative Public Procurement Product registrations.
Through his graduate studies in AI Computing, Mr. Namgoong further deepened his expertise and broadened his domain coverage, enabling him to provide comprehensive IP services across advanced technology fields — from patent specification drafting to dispute response and IP strategy formulation. He has also served as a Principal Investigator on numerous IP-R&D projects led by government and public institutions, including the Korea Intellectual Property Strategy Agency (KISTA), contributing substantially to the R&D strategy of domestic enterprises. In addition, Mr. Namgoong serves as an instructor in IP education programs operated by various organizations such as the Korea Invention Promotion Association (KIPA), practicing knowledge-sharing so that corporate practitioners and researchers can develop a sound understanding of intellectual property rights and practical capabilities for their use.
