As a patent attorney, Jordan Kim has built expertise across all aspects of IP since obtaining his license in 1991. Mr. Kim has been involved in the CI project of a global company, from planning to the obtainment of IP protection, in over 100 countries.
He possesses extensive experience in non-prosecution IP matters, particularly regarding international IP issues. He has been actively involved in numerous international IP organizations, including INTA, APAA, AIPPI, AIPLA, LESI, and FICPI. He has served as President of APAA Korea, as well as a Councilor of APAA Headquarters and Chair of the Design Committee and Special Committee of the same organization. He also served as Chair of LESI Asia-Pacific, an Instructor at LES Academy, Vice President of FICPI Korea, and as a Country Reporter and member of the Enforcement and Management Committees of INTA. Mr. Kim has also worked as a mediator for the Korean Patent Court. Furthermore, he has held positions such as International Director, Planning Director, and Vice President of the Korean Patent Attorneys Association (KPAA) for several years.
He has extensive experience in IP inter-partes cases and possesses rich expertise in establishing, implementing, and negotiating strategic solutions for clients. He holds extensive experience in technology commercialization, branding strategies, and licensing businesses. Building upon his experience in investment planning at a general trading company and based on in-depth analysis of the parties involved and their businesses, he consistently focuses his IP services on maximizing the business success of his clients.
