Having passed the 38th Korean Patent Attorney Examination in 2001, Mr. Yijoo Park serves as a patent attorney and partner at LEE & MOCK IP and has built extensive experience in patent and utility model filing, prosecution and rights acquisition, trials and litigation relating to patent and utility model rights, freedom-to-operate (FTO) analysis, infringement assessments, and patent searching and analysis.
Mr. Park’s technical practice spans a broad range of fields, including chemistry, materials and metallurgy, fibers and polymers, energy, battery materials, semiconductor materials, electronic materials, and water treatment technologies. He has accumulated substantial practical experience in domestic and international patent prosecution and Office Action (OA) responses, as well as invalidation trials, trials to confirm the scope of patent rights, patent infringement disputes, and litigation.
In particular, leveraging his ability to integrate technical and legal considerations in developing case strategies, Mr. Park has successfully handled numerous trial and litigation proceedings and provides practical and professional expertise throughout the entire process of securing intellectual property rights and resolving disputes.
In addition, based on his proficiency in multiple languages and his deep understanding of organic materials and polymer technologies, Mr. Park possesses particular expertise in the analysis of Chinese- and Japanese-language technical literature and prior-art documents.
