Mr. Kim qualified as a Korean Patent Attorney in 2004. Since then, he has been engaged in a broad range of intellectual property practices, including patent, utility model, and design applications, patent appraisal, trials and appeals, IP disputes, prior-art searches, and patent trend analysis projects.
Mr. Hyeongjun Kim majored in Metallurgical Engineering at Seoul National University. He further pursued advanced studies in alloy design at the Graduate School of Seoul National University where he obtained his Master’s degree in Metallic Materials.
After completing his graduate studies, Mr. Kim gained extensive hands-on experience in automotive structural design, mechanical engineering, and materials engineering while working at Daewoo Motor Co., Ltd. and Daewoo Auto & Technology Co., Ltd. (currently GM Korea), which were leading automotive companies in the Republic of Korea.
Mr. Kim has accumulated extensive experience in patent prosecution across a wide range of technical fields, including automotive structures, HVAC systems, automotive components, medical devices, and general mechanical systems. He passed the Patent Valuation and Appraisal Competency Assessment certified by the Korea Patent Attorneys Association.
