As a registered patent attorney, Mr. Jihun Kim specializes in intellectual property matters within advanced technology sectors, including semiconductors, displays, secondary batteries, solar cells, metals (steel/non-ferrous), and medical devices.
Since passing the Korean Patent Attorney Examination in 2019, Mr. Kim has managed domestic and international patent prosecutions and Office Action responses for leading global technology companies, including a Korea-based global electronics firm. He coordinates both incoming and outgoing cases, serving as a primary liaison between international counsel and domestic clients to ensure accurate and efficient patent acquisition.
Mr. Kim’s practice covers the full spectrum of patent prosecution, including drafting precise patent specifications, reviewing high-quality translations for foreign filings, and developing response strategies to overcome technical rejections. He also possesses practical experience in prior-art searches, patent invalidity assessments, and Freedom-to-Operate (FTO) analyses.
