Since joining Lee & Mock IP in 2020 as a patent engineer, Ms. Songeun Heo has been engaged in a wide range of patent search and analysis work across various industries. She has accumulated extensive practical experience in prior-art searches, patent trend analysis, patent mapping, freedom-to-operate (FTO) analysis, and invalidity searches in various technical fields, including e-cigarettes and other diverse technologies.

In particular, Ms. Heo has been responsible for the establishment and management of domestic and international patent databases, including KR, EP, and JP databases, and has contributed to improving the efficiency of patent analysis through regular database updates and technology classification management. In addition, she supports her clients’ R&D and intellectual property strategies by analyzing technology-specific patent portfolios and monitoring their competitors’ patent activities and industry trends.

With a broad understanding of various technical fields, she conducts prior-art analysis and patent risk assessments while providing practical IP analysis services tailored to her clients’ technology development goals and business strategies.
