Mr. Sunghyuk Choi passed the Korean Patent Attorney Examination in 2021 and joined LEE & MOCK IP as a patent attorney the following year. He specializes in securing and managing intellectual property rights in high-tech fields, with a particular focus on aircraft engines, aerospace launch vehicles, propulsion systems, UAVs, secondary batteries, semiconductor equipment, automotive components, robotics, medical devices, and artificial intelligence (AI).

Mr. Choi manages the comprehensive process of IP commercialization, encompassing domestic and international patent applications and intermediate case management. He provides strategic solutions for IP protection and dispute resolution through rigorous invalidity investigations and freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses. Additionally, he serves as a researcher in government-sponsored IP-R&D initiatives, including those run by the Korea Intellectual Property Strategy Agency (KISTA), helping local businesses formulate effective R&D roadmaps.

With a degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Mr. Choi possesses a deep technical understanding of the mechanical and aerospace sectors.
