Mr. Jong Heon Lee is a veteran IP professional who has worked in the patent field for more than 30 years since beginning his career at Mock Patent & Law Office in 1989 after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Hanyang University.

Mr. Lee has handled a broad range of matters for foreign clients across advanced technology industries, including electrical and electronic circuits, software, batteries, telecommunications, semiconductors, displays, electronic commerce, and AI. Beyond simple patent filing work, he has contributed to technical opinion development in various patent procedures, including Office Action (OA) matters, under guidance from patent attorney based on in-depth technical and patent analysis and careful review of core technologies. In particular, through many years of accumulated technical understanding and practical experience, he has developed the ability to accurately understand complex advanced technologies and connect such understanding to patent protection and dispute response strategies, which serves as an important foundation for effectively protecting clients’ core technologies and intellectual property.
