Ms. Mijung Cho is a patent attorney and partner at LEE & MOCK IP, with strong expertise and extensive practical experience across the full spectrum of intellectual property matters, including the drafting and prosecution of domestic and foreign patent and utility model applications for major Korean corporations, freedom-to-operate (FTO) and infringement analyses, patent searches and analyses, IP trials and appeals, patent mapping, and IP strategy consulting.
Ms. Cho focuses primarily on building and securing patent portfolios for domestic and international companies in the fields of display panels, manufacturing processes and sets, semiconductor equipment, and camera lens design, and is particularly skilled at identifying the core technical differentiators of an invention and translating them into IP strategies that deliver tangible business competitiveness.
Ms. Cho has conducted hundreds of patent infringement and validity assessments, as well as technology landscape analyses on key technologies, and leverages this experience to help clients manage IP risks that may arise throughout their R&D and commercialization activities.
