Mr. Juhyun Ahn is a patent attorney with more than 23 years of practical experience in intellectual property matters across a wide range of mechanical and device-related technologies, including semiconductor equipment, circuit boards, aircraft engines, and fluid machinery. He holds a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a specialization in mechanical vibration and system identification.

Mr. Ahn’s primary areas of practice include domestic and international patent and design applications, responses to Office Actions (OAs), infringement analysis, scope confirmation trials, invalidity investigations, patent landscape analysis, and freedom-to-operate (FTO) analysis. In particular, he has a strong interest in the integration of corporate R&D activities with patent information analysis and possesses expertise in the strategic utilization of patent landscape and FTO analyses.
Recently, Mr. Ahn has also been engaged in the practical application of generative AI and knowledge-based AI technologies, including related development work, with a focus on AI applications for enhancing the retrieval, analysis, and utilization of patent and technical knowledge.
