Mr. Jongmin Seo is currently a partner patent attorney at LEE & MOCK IP. Since passing the Korean Patent Attorney Examination in 2017, he has been engaged in domestic and international intellectual property matters primarily in the fields of chemistry, materials, energy, and secondary battery technologies. He has extensive experience in patent and utility model prosecution, Office Action responses, patent search and analysis, FTO and infringement analysis, and IP advisory services for large domestic corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises, government-funded research institutes, and university-industry cooperation foundations.
Based on his technical understanding of semiconductors/displays, electrical/electronics, chemistry/materials, and secondary battery technologies, Mr. Seo has handled numerous patent applications and prosecutions in major jurisdictions, including the United States, Europe, China, and Japan. He has also built expertise in practical IP advisory work connected to his clients\' business strategies, including competitor patent analysis, patent risk assessment, prior-art searches, and patent portfolio development throughout the product development and commercialization process.
In addition, drawing on his experience in analyzing and responding to various domestic and international patent disputes, Mr. Seo provides intellectual property services that balance technical understanding with legal analysis.
