After passing the Korean Patent Attorney Examination in 2004, Mr. Sung-shig Kang joined LEE & MOCK IP in 2005, where he is now a partner and patent attorney. He performs a wide range of tasks including patent and utility model applications, intellectual property adjudication and litigation, Freedom-to-Use (FTO) and infringement analysis, and patent search and analysis.

In particular, Mr. Kang has been handling patent matters for a global semiconductor company for over 20 years. He currently serves as Team Leader of the Semiconductor Process Team at LEE & MOCK IP, where he oversees the firm\\\'s semiconductor process practice.

In addition, Mr. Kang handles various technical fields related to semiconductor processes, devices and equipment, display devices and processes (LED, OLED), MIT devices, etc. for numerous small- and medium-sized enterprises, and possesses extensive practical experience ranging from patent filing, appeals and litigation, infringement analysis, and domestic and international OA responses to patent mapping and IP strategy consulting.

As a holder of a Master\\\'s degree in Physics, Mr. Kang possesses a strong ability to translate technical issues into effective strategies for securing intellectual property rights and responding to disputes, based on a deep understanding of structures and principles.
