Before Ms. Lee got a license as a patent/trademark attorney, she had worked for Kaeser Kompressoren Co., Ltd. (2000-2007) in charge of Purchasing and logistics, and SAP in the field of user training and assisting an implementation of SAP in the Korean subsidiary. Before Joining Y.P.LEE, MOCK & PARTNERS, she started her professional career as trademark attorney in Oori Patent & Law Office (2010-2011)
She handles trademark, design and domainname proceedings before the KIPO, the IDRC, the Patent Court, and the Supreme Court and advises on seeking protection of trademark and design rights in Korea, for a variety of global company clients. She also manages the worldwide trademark portfolio for domestic clients. Representative cases: Represented an Italian company V in defending a cancellation of design registration (2020); Represented a New Zealand company L in defending a cancellation of trademark registration (2019); Represented an Italian bank S in a domain name dispute (2018); Represented a French Shoes company S in a domain name dispute (2016); Represented a US IT company N in a domain name dispute (2015); Represented a French company K in defending a cancellation of trademark registration at the Patent Court (2015); Represented a German company B in an invalidation trial (2015); Represented a French company S in an invalidation trial (2016); Represented a US company P in a cancellation trial at Supreme Court (2014).
